This is a self-guided e-Bike tour over 1.5 kilometres in length, for the untrained rider will take no more than 25 minutes of riding for the return journey down a country quiet no through gravel road.

Your friendly E-Go Bike Hire host will meet you on site, go over the e-Bike features and make sure you are comfortable and seated correctly.

Read the many Sixth Creek Catchment Group, 6CCG, Project Boards along the road outlining the rehabilitation Projects started from 1998 by volunteers and agencies who have co-worked together along the Sixth Creek to improve the riparian zone, water quality and enhance wildlife habitat.

Why not bring your own picnic goodies for the e-Bike pannier bags, choose an ideal picnic spot (a favourite is Burdett’s Scrub near the end of the road), or take a dip in the all-year-round water hole in the height of summer.

Australia is reputed to be the driest inhabited continent in the world with South Australia being the driest State or Territory.  The importance of this tiny creek cannot be underestimated.  It is the only remaining all year-round water course in the Hills which flows into the Torrens River through the Adelaide CBD to the ocean below.

This is Peramangk and Kaurna Country, marvel at the serenity of the Australian bush and salute the many local volunteers and stakeholders who over the years continue to dedicate much pride, time and energy to improve this important habitat.

After your experience, why not relax and enjoy the ambience, warmth and hospitality of the nearby award-winning Uraidla Hotel, licensed since 1867, a great place to reflect on the days achievements and experience.  Their all-day menu caters for vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free meals.
